How compressed do the springs of the radiator hold down bolts need to be? Is there a certain amount that the radiator has to move? Jerry
i compress them enough to put the cotter pin through the hole. if you don't have the bolts with a hole,compress the spring enough to put load on it but not "crush" it. if your frame is boxed the radiator won't need to move much.
