I have built several rods with small block chevys, all have been in Model A's using the original grill shells. I have put Walker radiators in all the past projects. Have recently retired and am working on a 1928 Model A Roadster with a 350 Chevy and am looking for an alternative to the $500 Walker. Has anyone found a less expensive one that will cool well, have transmission cooler, and still fit into the original grill shell? Was looking at a 3 row for a 1965 Mustang 289 that is the correct size but am concerned if it will cool the 350 Chevy. Any thoughts or help will be appreciated.

I have 2 t buckets with the mustang radiator. 1 has a pretty much stock 350 and it has no cooling problems at all. The other has a pretty hot 383 and it could run a little cooler.
