right now I have a radiator out of a ford that had a 390 in it, I can get a radiator out of a dodge that had a 318 (for free) in it

the dodge one is quite a bit smaller but would fit nicely without having to "m***age" the pan below the stock radiator bracket when the front fenders go on plus the rad hose pipes on the dodge are on the right side without having to reroute hoses

I have a stock 350 sbc in the truck and am wondering if the dodge radiator will provide sufficient cooling?

So long as the Dodge radiator is in good shape, and the rest of your cooling system is up to snuff...no problem at all with that combination!

I ran a Mustang II with a 351 Windsor that was equipped with the stock 4 cylinder radiator...and got the motor to run at or below 175 by optimizing everything else!

(A properly sized fan spaced the correct distance from the radiator, a decent shroud, thermostat selection and engine tune will help optimize cooling efficiency for ya!)

  3. Y eah -I believe you'd be fine with the 318 radiator.
I ran one in a rod once from a '70 Fury and it cooled a 350 just fine.
