Radiator tech ? for 28 9 Ford Grille shell or 32

What have you guys used in your stock grille shells when running a flathead v8 without buying a new one? I also have a 32 Comercial shell I could use. I need ideas if my rpu does sell. Thanks Danny

 

I run a recored stock 32 V8 radiator in a deuce shell of course. The restorer didn't want it because the fins didn't have the right dimples in them. It works fine.

 

Tommy thanks I would like to do that but the 32 is taller then the 28 9 I guess I could have a shorter core and notch the 32 shell.I still want to run my hood heres a shoot of it...Danny

 

I used an old Jag radiator just about the right width.

Ya it is cool. I got it from an old guy out here that was gonna sand blast it and paint it, so I traded him for my plain one....Danny
