1952-59 Ford Radiators ?

    If installing a 302 in a 55 Fairlane what side should the inlet and outlet be on a aluminum radiator? What size on the inlet and outlet, 1 1/2" or 2"

    Hi Jeff, I'm looking at your pics and I'm a bit confused. The upper inlet looks like it's on the driver side and the lower outlet looks like it's on the driver side also.

    Read that first sentence just under the pictures. https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/media/albums/289-302-351w-swap-mounts.41498/ So you can mount closer to the firewall,it also helps if the car was a 6 cyl instead of a y-block to start with.

    Look at the last picture that has the red upper hose,it's p***enger side.

    Car was a Y Block and I’m using Butches Cool Stuff mounts for 1955-1956 Ford using a 302

    Ok, the pics with the red hose is the correct radiator configuration?

    Yes, This '54 was originally a 223 Six the stock lower hose is p***enger side on those where as the Y-blocks were drivers side. Also the Six cylinder radiators are mounted further forward I hope you read Post #2 above and the link I posted.
