Technical Radio replacement

Discussion in 'Traditional Customs' started by jerdan, Aug 25, 2018.

  1. Has anyone installed a usa-630 radio from classiccarstereo in a 1953 ford? If so, did it fit without any modifications? Were you satisfied with the product? Any feedback is appreciated.

  3. That radio is made by Custom Autosound, they don't have a very good reputation. Do a search online for reviews of their stuff before deciding....

More money, but a much better rep.... https://www.retromanufacturing.com/

I bought a car once that had a Custom Autosound radio in it and what a POS it was. Beats me how someone would buy one. Never once did I ever listen to it. For tunes I use my I Phone and a bluetooth speaker.

Why don't you let me convert your original radio. You can have all the bells and whistles. Hands free Blue tooth USB AM FM Aux.

Put a Custom Autosound dual channel 6X9 speaker in the dash it sounded like tin and the sun turned it into trash in less than 3 months. Would this work for you the conversion they do? It might be worth a call.http://www.bobsradio.com/
