Anything bigger than 14" looks wrong. I would do plain steel with vintage style bias street slicks on back, all black, no caps. Then Radir or similar mag on front with thin white stripe bias ply. Or run correct rally 1 wheels on front, same tires.

    Just my humble opinion.

  2. As a 40 year owner of '65 GTO's I can tell you that those are definitely Hurst wheels.

The Hurst wheels you would have gotten in '65 would have been 14x6. I personally would never run anything bigger than a 15x7.

Back in 2006 I purchased Cragar Racers. Which look just like the Radio Tri Rib polished.Mine are Chrome. I had heard there was a patent lawsuit and Cragar had to stop making them. Does anyone know the story?

When the Cragar SST came out back in the day, I thought they looked great, especially on a black car. But now I think they're just a little too much bling.
And if you care anything about performance and handling, and understand anything about unsprung weight and inertia, you'll turn and run every time you see them offered for sale, as they are heavy as HELL!!!!!!

  14. About a year ago I read that the Hurst wheels were being reproduced. Check with OPG and Year One.
