Projects Radius Turning Tool

    If you have an english wheel, bead roller, and make your own tools, and have a lathe, then you should be making your own dies and dollies. Make your own radius turning tool.

    Well, those ends sure look a lot nicer then the rounded ends I did with grinder, that I had been using for years. But I have never had a lathe, or the tooling., so the grinder worked OK for me.

    Yuppers, the key there is having a lathe that the majority of us just flat do not have. I made some of those forming tools a few years back but can't remember if I made them before or after I went to one of Gene Winfield's metal working cl***es. I had to round the ends with my grinder too.

    Lathe, radius gauges and 4 1/2” angle grinder is how I do it.
