So i got my 2 1/2" rams horn manifold, but its a super tight fit. If i can use a 2" pipe with a slight bend it should fit with some clearance. I got a 2 1/4" pipe with a flange on it and it gives me about 1/4" clearance but ive got a bit of a cam and the engine needs some clear space. So can i put a 2" pipe to a 2 1/2" flange, or any other suggestions on how to do this.
Kinda defeats the purpose choking it down to 2" or? have you looked at the oval exhaust tubing? They sell 2 1/2" round to oval adapters that will not restrict the exhaust. A pair each side oval to oval would get you past the frame then you could continue on with your round pipe. Instead of bending tubing, how about fabbing a 2-1/2" S shaped mitered joint, probably do it in 6 pieces.
