Technical Random fifties Chevy interchange

This is just a catch-all thread for my "will it fit" questions.
First question is will a 55-57 seat adjustment knob fit a 53/54 Chevy seat? Lost mine and chrome was rough to boot. And I'm digging the tri five knob. And the tri five one is cheap for new chrome

does the part that the knob fits on your seat, look like the one used on 55-57 chevys?

 

Basically. I'd have to measure to see if same size
