i figured ive been lurking here long enough and should say hi at this point. i picked up a 30-31 model a pick up as a project. i got into classic cars about 4 years ago and after searching for about a year i found my 66 caddy. i just wanted something to cruise and help me forget about all my worries. now that im relaxed i want to step it up and just go fast, hence the model a. it will be a "rat rod" of whatever anyone else wants to call it i really dont care. i just like the concept about building it the way you want it and best of all it doesnt have to be shiney and flashy. ive noticed a lot of people saying things such as rat rods arent safe and other crap. luckily im a machinist and can play with metal all day so i can say this thing will be built like a brick shit house. anyways im jason, im 26, and i like to drink beer. peace.
Welcome! First off... don't say the "RR" word... people on here don't take that word very easily LOL. I personally don't care, but I know others will say something. =] Good luck with building your rod!
thanks for the heads up about the "RR" word. if anybody wants to talk negative about it thats their own problem. it doesnt affect me one bit.

mostly lurking the classifieds sections and no i didnt bother reading the "about us". if people want to act stupid because of the word rat thats their business not mine. my build my way the way i want. thats how i look at it.
