That was the Rolling Bones race car, unfortunately the bottom end let go and had a couple windows in the side of the block. I talked with them a little and it had a 180 degree crank in it, as well as other trick stuff. Can't tell any more details, but it was not repairable at the salt.
I had the good fortune to see the Rolling Bones guys at their hotel last night. Caught the top of the trailer out of the corner of my eye. They are the COOLEST group of guys I have ever met. Purpose built pure hot rods. I wish I would not have been so rushed last night I would have like to talked to them more. They let me crawl inthe trailer and were telling me about the motor. They were discussing uploading some videos for HAMBland. But I bought a shirt too I hope to run into them again when I have more time. They were heading Northeast this morning.
yeah....motor scattered....but like they say...thats racin....as for videos...you musta talked to george....character isn't he...never saw someone hunt another down for a shirt sale.hahahahaha and Carri..pics look awesome...except for the funny look on my face in one..haha
Geo had me in stitches all weekend... As for the look on your face I think it's the look of concentration....
No one has ever more skillfully captured the pure essence of Mark Morton. Additional kudos for doing it on the SALT. Regards, Ron
