Rare bomber seat?????

    Now..I might make some of those! do you have the other measurements to provide. such as the height of the sides and such?

    could you tell me the thickness of the wood?
    i was doing some research to make a set for a project.
    kinda new to woodworking how do you bend ply wood?
    guessing you just soak it in water bend it and let it dry?

    The wood is real thin...3/16 to a 1/4 thick with layers added in areas for stiffening. It's pretty lightweight for wood.

    Not sure about bending it wetting it and letteing it dry in a form the shape you want may help.

    This is an old thread, but I am looking for a pair of the black PT26 Cornell seats to finish off the real thing. If anyone runs across one or two, or even the adjusting hardware/shoulder harness reels - please let me know via a PM. Thanks so much - Bob
