Rare El Mirage picture op last weekend

El Mirage got rained out Sat. night and I was able to snap some amazing photos that I want to share with everybody.
This was a very rare photo opportunity because usually if the lake bed is wet, the rangers won't let anybody on it, and usually scta knows ahead of time if a meet is going to be rained out and they cancel it, but this storm hit by suprise Sat. night after most racers had shown up. Enjoy:

I want some. Can you save them on a disc and I will pick them up when I come by? I have a new security system I don't know how to run and it won't let big attachements through.

Great shots. I drove up Sunday morning in the '36 and got turned around at the entrance. Went home over The Crest and turned disappointment into a bitchin road trip.Wayno

Those pictures are fantastic. You guys both did a great job.
I've never seen any pictures of El Mirage after rain like that. It's kind of earie to see.
