Howdy. It's good to have young guys on the HAMB.

But let me be really direct with you. These guys are busting on you for your punctuation for a reason.

I know that I will often just skip a thread if the OP has typed out a long, run-on sentence with no punctuation. It's really hard to read and there's so much here on the HAMB that it's not worth the time to sit and decipher.

So...if you truly want advice from this group, and are not just trying to find a way to brag that you can pay $1,000 for a mag, then yes, you should take the time to make your posts easier to read.

Forum posts should be considered conversational....and are best typed out in short "paragraphs" of no more than a few sentences.

Like I said, most people will see a wall of text with no punctuation and just move on.

I'm not busting on you....just trying to help.

I cant believe some of you guys. All I hear is how this a dying art and we need to get kids interested in cars to carry on the torch. The kid is working at 15 and evidently doing ok. soon enough the right girl will come along and he will be like the rest of us NO cash feeding Kids and paying bills. then like the rest of us he wont have a grand to lay out for a mag, or paint or anything else. and probably wind up selling the car cause the minivan needs to fit in the garage.

HEY KID go for it, the br*** ring dont come around forever, grab it and build your *** off. If nothing else at least you will have a real memory to remember about the time you and your grandpa bilt this killer chevy 6 cyl with a mag in it.

I wish you well, but if you can't construct a sentence I'm pretty sure you'll have trouble constructing a viable car.

I like that concept, and have used it myself on several occasions. I have never regretted it.
