    City: Clare

    State: Illinois

Will it require clean up- yes
    Does it turn over? -Yes
Have I had it running? -no

I looked for this combo for over 10 years before I finally found one. But I haven't found the right project for it and other things are getting in the way. Won't bother me to hold on to it till my wife has to deal with it, but I am making it available in case somebody is looking as hard as I was. Please read the entire ad.

True high compression 4bbl Buick 215. If you aren't familiar with these, they had aluminum blocks and heads. They put out 195ish hp from the factory. The design was bought by Rover and they used the design into the 1980's.

This one is complete including the Hen's Teeth bellhousing and clutch. It turns over. I have seen the bellhousings sell for near $1k on their own. It will come with an equally rare NOS offy 2x2 intake manifold and Mallory dual point distributor. These motors usually came mated to a T-10, but i wanted overdrive, so I have a 3spd muncie/borg warner R-10 transmission with all the cables and relays and stuff to make it work. Also have new in the box Hurst floor shifter. Should be a really nice setup.

I also have an adapter kit to mount a GM automatic trans to the 215.

    $5k for everything.
Drop $300 off price if you don't want the transmission stuff.
$3k if you only want the base engine

I'd be willing to trade for a nice 18-24' enclosed trailer.

I'm willing to pallet and crate it if you arrange shipping. Otherwise, pick up in Northern Illinois.

I can get pics of transmission stuff if you are serious and want yo see them.

Might consider some partial trades or trade for 1984 and earlier big twin Harley if you don't have an enclosed trailer.

    Trade interests:
    28-31 roadster body with title
    20-24' enclosed trailer
    1966-1970 Harley FLH

Great unique hot rod or show rod motor here. Think of all the polished aluminum you could have......
