Mac...I tried that. Guy said he had 2 just like it....ended up being airwheels..not a match but just as good.

I have a pair of these and the are 16x4 4.5 bolt pattern.

Doug B's are Airwheels. They have more of a curve in the center of the wheel and the backs are different. I think the cap size is biggeron the wheels I have too.

Here a set of Hollywood mags i bought awhile ago at a local church flea market they were the only set i have ever seen at the time ..Don't know if the knock off style center were added latter but they look right and fit on them.. ......Someone painted the rims a cast gray before i got them .Looked to have been a chrome rim with a cast alum center ...

  15. dang i want just one set of magnesium rims and you have a grip of them!!! i am jealous:cool:

  16. I don't think the Boyd's really count as "rare".

  17. Okay, these are on a '62 Galaxie 500 XL that I bought and they are Kelsey Hays "Satin Strippers" I havs seen 2 other sets over the years and I understand they came in 15x6 (mine) and rare 15x7 and rumor of ultra rare 15x4. I have found two gentlemen who have hoardes of these wheels including NOS sets. I would like to find a spare tire wheel if any one has a single 5 on 4.5 15x6. They are steel rimed with the alloy center.

I don't know if they are so rare but they come from my 35 ford (French import) with the original hubcaps.

Hey, I have 2 pieces of those wheels. 17"x4" and 4x4" bolt pattern. And maybe I know one more with hub cap.

I have also those steel wheels (2 pic). Size 16"x4", anyone knows something?
