Rears are 15x10 AREs original magnesium with M/T 10.00x15 pie crusts.
Fronts are 15x6 International Dragmasters with NOS ET oval caps. One of them has the name cast in the back and the other does not. Identical in every other way though.
    Bought all 4 from H.A.M.B.ers.
The wheels can make or break a car. It was 1st on my list to make period correct on the car. Now to nit pick the rest of the ''wrongs''![IMG]

    Kan Kustom likes this.
  7. No, they will be LESS rare. But go for it anyway. I'm interested in the history...

These wheels are 16x5, 5 on 5 1/2 bolt pattern 1941 ONLY Mercury. They are pretty rare because of the limited production before World War II war time production. Inside the wheel they are stamped KH 16x5 and have a '41 date code. Not the flashiest wheels but not easy to find

    To nit pick:

    disk brakes
    electric fag
    oops "fan"
    tunnel ram
    radials
If you don't have those you pass.

They were offered by ford as an option for high clearance applications...for areas with lots of snow, etc. The wheels came with a frame spacer that was riveted into the spring crossmember to further raise the ford even higher. This is what I was told anyways.

Anyone ever seen MARK II wheels? These are 14X6. The castings look like sand castings with some polishing.

Yes they are Crestlines kind of. They are the crestlines mold but with "Crestline Walnut creek California" removed from the mold because dick had moved his operation to Benica 15 mi north of walnut creek and changed the companys name to "E-T"

Doodle, are those magnesium Halibrands, newer alum Halibrands, or new Real Rodder's wheels? They look like 15" size.
