    There's something for everybody, y'know.

I've built custom bicycles, altho I wouldn't call them rat rods...

Maybe the NY times will write about these guys someday, too!

yeah, my friend and I build bikes too actually. i love building bikes. but well, the whole obsession with 'rat rodding' and the constant 'these aren't trailer queens, real mean build rat rods and ride/drive them all the time.....YAY!!' that made me close that site immediately.

theres a few bicycle clubs here in the LA area that have been doing this for years. Ive been to several of the choppercabras/boneshaker rides and they are always a blast. They have a bicycle demolition derby, bicycle jousting and tractor pulls. they even had a chariot race one time. Its hillarious to see people that have been drinking etc trying to ride bikes and falling. Its all in good fun because no one gets seriously hurt or anything and they usually organize a ride to some other location a few miles away and have a big party with bands and BBQ. Its great because sometimes there are over a hundred custom bikes and they pretty much take over the whole street, you see people shaking there heads and laughing.
that website is pretty lame though...

  8. If I have a bike rack, does that make me a goldchainer? :D

There's a part of me that sorta likes it, but I won't say that in public.
