I had baby rats around last summer. So I set up my wooden Victor traps. I bought some of their plastic ones.. also good for booby traps with 12-gauge shells... The 1st day I bagged 3 of them within a few hours. They had green flies on them right away. Unfortunately I bagged a robin in one. So I put the traps under old cat little containers with access holes. I weighed them down with rocks. It still worked well and no more birds.
I keep a couple of cats. One is old, fat and lazy, but the other is a good hunter and regularly brings me prizes. No rodent issues here. Devin
The owls are sold to keep crows away, but the crows soon realize if the owls never move, they can'y be real. I prefer ravens & crows around rather than rodents and they seem to like the (non-poisoned) rodent carcasses. As Sunnyvale's Ricky would say "2 birds stoned at one time"
