The car has an olds engine with 4 chrome 97s,
Cragar 4 pot intake, edelbrock valve covers
Early ford chrome dropped axle with chrome split wishbones,
Chrome banjo rear end with chrome model a spring.
I am wondering if anyone has any info on it? We know it
Was built in the late 50's was owned by Ray Farner!

This is probably the car you are referring to. I believe that Ray sold it to Speedy Bill. I recently saw an old photo of it in front of Speedway in one of their ads.

It was built by then-teenager Larry Ryan and George Barnes in 1960. Ray bought it, then gave it away as a door prize at his Kansas City show. It was nicely styled for the time period and is still fairly unique.

It is a friend of mine. I am just posting this up for him he doesn't have a computer. He always told me he had this old t bucket that was in a magazine. So I finally got him talked into digging it out today!! He said he has owned it for 25 years! It is basically all there

Did he give it away or sell it????

It would be totally cool if he gave it away as a door prize. Can you imagine going to a car show on Sunday and driving that car to high school on Monday?

That is cool as hell, I know cars like this are still out there, hidden away in some damned old shed or garage....Alot of them prolly have not seen the light of day in 30 years.....You sure as hell do not see them at car shows anymore, Seeing stuff like this makes me want to go door to door and ask people what they have hidden in their garages....LOL

I ran a marathon yesterday through a local rural area and was thinking the same thing, every farm had a barn or set of sheds that just had to have something in at least some of them!

OP, your friend has a cool as hell T bucket there, is he going to do anything with it or just store it?
