Remember Rayco? Are they all gone? When did they die off?

Yep, seat covers and exhaust! The one on Central Ave in Phoenix lasted into the 70s as I remember.

We had one here in Glen Burinie, Maryland at least until 1986. I remember a customers car with the clear vinyl custom seat covers.. even the headrests.. They did really nice work... The car was a four door fairmount.. The things you wish you could forget...

    Miami still has one.
At least it did 5 years ago.
I'll check next time I get up that way.
By the way, they put a headliner in my
OT car 7 years ago, great job, cheap price.

the "real" miami shop on biscayne bvd closed a couple years ago.... steve, the guy who owned it was talking about retiring the last couple times i was in there... its a benjiman moore paint store now... i'm thinking the guys that worked there took the name and moved to the new warehouse a couple blocks from my place. it just opened up a couple months ago. always did really nice work.

yep, that's them- just remembered seeing a rayco sign near 7th ave a while back. i guess they kept it going the whole time and just moved to this spot. too bad they couldn't keep the original building.
