Projects Re-Doing my 1954 Chevy Kustom

Discussion in 'Traditional Customs' started by 54hotrodder, Nov 19, 2013.

  1. If you are building to the time period of cars like the Burgarin car you do not want flake it was not being used during this period of customs. It came quite a bit later. The Packard taillights would be cool probably not cheap but cool!

I know they were not useing flake in this period of time. That came torward the points only show cars that werent driven. Everything i have for this is mid 50s amd older parts.
The packard ligjts arent cheap but worth it.

Ok so today i got my rubbers, wire looms, trim clips for the beltline. And i made my self a hood prop because i am going to remove the hood springs.
Also i installed a 1949 chevy hood latch so i can run a cabel under the dash to pop the hood

Ok well i got one dummy spot done. I took an s16 guide spotlight, and removed it from the original shaft. Then i took a set of dummy spotlight arms and mated the two together. I am looking for another s16 to do the other side.

Well i got my other skirt done. I nedd to fix my brackets for mounting it. But the skirt itself is done.
And next is to fix the rear lower half of my quarter panel. There was a patch put in about 25+ years ago and was done poorly.
