The purpose of editorials is to offer oppinion and stimulate thought. Although editorials can be self-serving and/or egotistical (read any Newspaper lately?), this one is obviously neither. Kirk's editorial both stimulates thought and proves one of it's propositions, namely the existance of universal attraction. It's obvious that most of us dig Kirk's Low Down ramblings, keep 'em comming.

I agree completely and editorial re-runs are good.

I've alway hated trendy. It seems so superficial. I prefer timeless classic designs in everything, not just cars.

Cool post. I definitely like how you explained how the over the top will get the immediate attention but will fail to hold it there for any length of time.

At the time Bob had a 32 Ford Roadster pickup, channeled, fenderless, Buick Seminole Red, wide whites and Moon discs, 392 Chrysler power. Today we would call it HAMB friendly.

Such a timely, timeless post on timelessness, sir!

Thanks for taking us back to a simpler time (2006) when our examinations on the simlacrum of time and its sister timelessness seemed so much simpler.

In these uncertain times, it sometimes takes the verse of a man who, seemingly, time forgot to take us back in time (to 2006) and show us what timelessness meant back then.

We might often throw around expressions line: back in the day, the good old days and so forth as we grasp at the sand as it pours through the hourglass and leaves a rose colored dust hanging in the air - but it is you, a man of our times, who has so eloquently summarized the singularity of timelessness.

    Bravo, I say!
    Bravo!

Simply timeless writing, and I hope to see more of it.
    Time and time again.
    For a long time.

    Oh jeez...
I feel like such a sorry simp for mis-spelling simulacrum.
    A big sad sap.
Not so sad as to say I feel shitty, or like shit.
Perhaps I am just being self centered and aware standing here in the shadow of your wordsmithery, sir.
Mayhaps, might we, discuss this at greater length and in greater detail over tea and biscuits at some soon coming date?
