Been working on the wifes 32 3 window and just got the sealer on it yesterday and sprayed the base coat this morning and now in between coats of clear ! Trying a new clear SPI the stuff is slick and lays down flat !! I am impressed !! Trying to get it done for her to drive to LARS fathers day !!! Got the tailights put back together !
Last coat of clear put on for tonight . Really I should say for this morning ! Been a long day today! Used SPI clear stuff really lays down flat and ya turn the booth off after the mist of spray is out within a minute ! It really flows out ! Just like they said it would !! Thanks all for support !
The car looks really nice shouldn't be a lot of sanding on that clear. I agree on the SPC products. I'm in the middle of a bare metal to paint project. Really like the epoxy and 2K primers. Ron.
great color! the paint looks to have laid down real flat, very nice work! but to really make an impression... u need to whip up a tin man suit to wear when driving it..but color......matched to the car and have ur wife or girl dress as Dorothy...have a kid? yup they can be Toto......friends? lion and scarecrow
That color really pops!! is that a new paint booth, super clean. We used a product to coat the inside of ours and as it got dirty the product peeled off like sheets of white plastic. Your car looks Great!!
That would be real fun to do, But no time, trying my best to get it done for the wife to drive to LARS on father's day ! Now back out to work on it ! Thank you !
Barry's product line has won me over in painting, kinda like the good old days products are easy to use and work and are very reasonable ! Good by to the big giant paint manufactures ! Can paint a car again on a budget !
For sure I really like the epoxy. It has a lite gloss and sands good. This is mine after two coats on bare metal before any body work. All filler work was done on top of epoxy. Ron. . http://www.southernpolyurethanes.com/perfect paint.htm
No ,I wish it was cause I'd be done by now, as they are so straight. It was made by Bear Body in Arz.( Canada) Think it was the last one they made !

Had to change the headers . Went to Randy Miller's Custom Exhaust his side exhaust pipes w/steel baffles and finished running the transmission lines w/cooler !
