I pulled these off our junk 41 ford woodie and was thinking I could use the on my coupe. They are the top shock mounts that grab the lip of the rear cross member by way of pinching in with a bolt. It also has a set screw. Has anyone used this type of shock mount? Any good tips?

    Nobody has used these?

  3. I don't think those are a stock Ford item. Ford did not use tube shocks until 1948. That could be an after market conversion.

Do you have pictures of the lower mounts?
