Can anybody tell me if Wilwood makes a rear disc brake kit for a 1934 Ford rear axle. I have called their technical department several times......left messages and no one has returned my call............I would like to run their brakes on all 4 corners............thanks for any and all help!!!

  2. I'm betting nobody makes a kit for that since it's not a common rear end to upgrade to disc brakes. Ford 9", GM 12 bolt, sure there's kits because it's being done everyday. How about a bracket like this and finding some factory type rear rotors that will easily adapt to the 34 axle ? http://www.pitstopusa.com/detail.aspx?ID=23695 I did something similar on a Chevy 12 bolt but used a bracket that bolted to the 4 bolts where the drum brake backing plate used to go and stock rear rotors for a 79-81 Trans Am. Mine uses Wilwood calipers that are a copy of a GM metric front caliper like they used on Monte Carlos, Malibus, etc.

  4. I have disc on a 37 ford rear but changed the axles used ford 9" bearings Lincon (sp)
rotors Impala calipers and made brackets maybe you could cut the drums using the center as a flange to mount a hat or rotor in front or behind it then use a caliper of your choice and make or buy a bracket look at oval track supplier
