rear end 56 chevy pick-up

    Anybody have photos of a 56 chevy truck rear end that has been lowered. I am thinking it's gonna need to be kicked up, question is how much? thanks tim

    I'Ve done a few in my day, just how low are you wanting to go and what size wheel and tire are you planing on running. Most of the time all that is needed is an inch and a half deep C-notch in the frame. If you are planing on "laying frame" so to speak then you only need about three or four inches of Z or C-notch.

    This truck is belongs to a buddy. He bought the Heidts IFS kit with 2" drop spindles. He is looking for a level ride. The rims he has for it are 15x10 slot rims. Tires I am not sure. The engine is a blown 350 I guess he'll need some meat. tim
