Starting to take some shape to it. Had to have 20" added to the frame. Gonna be long, low and mean by the time she's all done.
friggin killer, you guys gonna fill in the original wheel wells? hope to see that thing on the road soon...
Oh yeah, Tom and his guys are going to put some new tin on the sides to fill that up. Our goal is to have it at the Hunnert Car this year. We'll see how that goes for us.
I was looking at that rear cross member thinking that it looked familiar and not paying any attention to the background in the pictures, then, damn it hit me, thats the ch***is I just saw yesterday. Only much longer now. Only to concurr with others who have already said, it is early Olds, bulletproof, same as what is in Bilbee's T-Bucket, you'll break a lot of other **** on that car before you hurt that rear end
Scott, It just dawned on me that I was over at your dads place last night when you were working on the car and I never even made the connection. I knew you guys were on the HAMB but I never gave it much thought last night. I will be by again soon, I have some work to do for your dad on the doors of his A. Tracy
Here's some we had available. We plan on running some sort of shock back there, but we'll let Tom's gang figure out the geometry on those for us.
Same here. I of course recognized the car from the board and had to ask pops who that was. Yeah, I was slaving away on my poor crooked six. Hopefully if all goes well, we'll be back up and running for the Hot Rod Ruckus in Brownsburg.
Originally it was gonna be a roadster, but after the stretch and the dead space behind the body, Tom and the rest of us decided that it needed a short bed to fill up that "dead" space in in the rear.
