I've been reading over the how to build a traditional ford hot rod book as sort of a guide as well as the forums. I'm not going to be using a banjo rear end nor do I have the radius rods used in the book. What I want to do is mount my rear end using the A rear spring. I know you attach spring hangers (is there another term or is this pretty much a standard one?). but where is the spot to do it? On top, in front or behind the axle? What other options are there besides radius rods yet still considered "traditional"?
