Hey all, I’m looking for a shop in Los Angeles that can put back together a 1956 Ford Dana 44 Rear End. The rear end was pulled apart and was blasted and painted. Needs new seals, shims, bearings and assembly.
The Dana 44 is popular with the 4x4 guys, so there should be plenty of shops that can handle it. I'd make sure that whoever does it that they are working with a case spreader to get proper preload.

Well...seems that the Google web might be of some...help ! Not exactly in Los Angeles, but "Currie" in the O.C. did a great job with my Dana 44. Everything, axles, bearings, posi, gaskets, the whole thing. Mike
