Ok you masters of fabrication I got a question. So I have lowered my 52 chevy 4 door and now I am wondering how to go even lower. I do not want to go with airbags...I want to do this old school.

Currently I have about 3 1/2in worth of lowering block in the rear. I have been reading through all that I could find on here but I am stupid when it comes to "words"...does any one have any tech photo's or can explain this in detail. I am sorry about being the 90th person to ask this question but some tech photo's would be awesome. Oh- I also had an issue with my perch rubbing against the inner wall of the tire when taking turns...the new cokers took care of that since they are not as wide as the tires before. So any photo's, C notch info, old skool tricks...anything would be really helpful.

    Thanks in advance!

  2. Here is what I did on my Ford. If the factory put the Spring hangers under the frame rails on your Chevy you can do the same thing. It lowered my car 3 1/2" with the stock springs and made lots more room for my Tires. How much clearance do you have between the frame and axle housing as it sits?
