Awww quit yer whining....., just stuff some brillo pads in those holes and smear a little BONDO over it. Crack open a beer and you're done. P.S. If you wanna make it look real good, you can also sand it. Where's the cheesgrater? later, JT.
Not whining, just posting some pics of the rust holes that i have talked about but never showed photos of.
chill out man, I was just joking. How do you plan on fixing them....for real. I KNOW you are not going to do what I wrote. JT.
How about cutting it out (panel, not the accused whining)and using round bar to fab the bead. Then tack in sheet above and below. Or just bring it over to my place and we'll bust out the Brillo pads n Bondo! Crease Barons So Tex
VonTingler, that doesnt sound like that bad of an idea.... Didn't know you were joking im so used the guys around here giving me ****... no problem, brillo and bondo...
When I was little I had a neighbor who used to buy junkers, paint em and sell them. He'd walk out to the garage in the morning with a six pack of generic beer and a gallon of bondo. After the first beer he'd cut open the can and use it to back the bondo. If the car was really rusty he'd usually p*** out half way through.
Hey Switchblade teeth. Yeah, sarcasm and joking doesn't come off too well when typing... I WAS just joking about the brillo and Bondo stuff though. Although I have used that method in the past..... I prefer to carefully cut out sections that have rusted like that and replace them with carefully cut patch panels, **** welded of course in place and ground smooth. The Brillo and Bondo method seems to only last a few months before more bubbles and **** starts coming back through. Of course for a quick fix, it is hard to beat.... Later, JT.
