hi guys i have a dodge pick up i have put a ford diff in to how do i work out what length shocks i need to fit to the vehicle thanks MArk
Measure the length as it sits. Figure out how far it can compress under driving, and then add an inch or two to each end. If it sits at 12" stock height, and can compress 5", then you need a shock that extended length is 14", and compressed length is 7" eye to eye. As long as you don't bottom or top out under normal travel, it will work fine.
