Technical Rear suspension

hey guys I bought a custom home made chassis that’s just a hair short been thinking of ideas to make it work under my pick up, was originally gonna run the spring on top of the axle like a stock a which would get me damn close but came across this pic and this would give me tons of room, my question is did they just swap tubes from one side to the other to reverse it? Has anyone done it? Anymore pics?

 

Yes, the bells will go either side, no issue. That's an Old trick for sure.
