Somewhere on this board I saw something about using a tbird sway bar on a 49 special deluxe. Does anyone know of a swaybar that might fit a Special Deluxe with a 9” mustang rear end?

  2. No help on a swaybar that fits, but I can caution you that whatever you select should be a frame-mount bar rather than an axle-housing mount. I know from hard-won experience that an axle-mount bar can actually bend the housing, leading to axle bearing failure at least. Ford used frame-mount bars on all their OEM 9" applications for this reason...

Just to clarify: a frame-mount means the bar mounts to the frame (or unibody structure) with the bar links attached as close to the lower shock mounts/spring pads as possible.
