Has anyone tried using a deeper dished wheel on the rear. I know the clearance is pretty small. I was looking to use a rear wheel with a negative offset. If so does anyone have pics and sizes. Thanks

My '54 has 14" X 6" ET slot mags to clear I went around the wheel well and made a cut every 4" so I could roll in the lip for clearance,I used Mr. Gasket shock extensions so the rear will drop more when it's jacked up to get the tire in the wheel well. The tires are P195/75R14 Cornells from Pep Boys the Cornells have a slightly narrower section width and tread width for extra clearance.I had a pair of 14" X 7" slots and no way would they clear.

shock extensions, great idea. My 53 merc is dropped 3 inches and i have to unbolt the shock to change the tire.

My 55 has 15X6 Americans with 225-70 R 15's. I have to remove the lower shock nuts to get them off. There is a pictur eof the car on the Ford Barn under Ole Don

My 54 has 15x7 with 205/75-15. 3 1/2 back space on rims, no clearance problems even with skirt on.
