I've been watching ebay lately w/ my eye on '57 Cad caps & I'm seeing them go for like $200 + for a set of four. I know that ebay is a great place to pay too much for an item, but what is a reasonable price?

I'm not a big fan of the caps that came with my '56 Cad, and I think '57s would look a little MO' ***Y (& trendy & over-used, but I like 'em).

Check to see f they are a matched set.
    There were two different
    57 caps, standard and deluxe.
The only difference you will se visually is the deluxe caps have a finished lip around the valve stem hole and the standard ones have no lip.
Small thing but enough to mage them look "different".

Thanks for the tips. I spoke with the guy from McVey's (a restoration cadillac business) & he said that he had them reproduced recently. I can get brand new ones with a slight, nearly invisible blemish for $100 a pop.

Since I'm putting them on a driver I don't care, but it still seems CRAZY expensive. Maybe '57 caps aren't that cool after all.
