FYI, I recently contacted Rebel Wire on a question I had about a wiring kit I bought from them over a year ago and discovered that they are under new ownership. Bob sold the business and Jeremy moved on as well.
Buy now. Harsh thing to say but how many times have we seen good companies get sold and for a variety of reasons go on a downhill spiral. I don't know who bought the company and wish them well but there have been too many horror stories over the years posted here that makes me cautious.
I bought a 9+3 kit last year and am only now putting it in. I bought the Rebel Wire kit based on Jeremy's reputation. His replacement, Cory, was quick to respond when I had a question. I haven't sought any difficult advice so far but am heading in that direction as I slowly try to think like an electron while trying to understand just what goes where, what connects to what and how best to route wires. The deeper I get into it, the more I understand. I also reference Kwik Wire and other vendors for their information. I might just get this 51-year-old project on the road someday this summer. That's my general goal. I also commend Rebel Wire for sending me some additional wire I requested. Lots to figure out.
Yes, sorta. I had a question about an omitted hazard flasher on my harness. They said they will send the hazard connector and associated hardware. Yet to see it but I do know they have some family medical stuff going on.
