    @racer-x
I would Like to be more able for others to keep up with writing & thoughts so not so Cryptid ,
I do not know if many here follow Different Drag racing & other sanction and bodies outside of NHRA, There is some unbelievable Et's & speeds & engine combo's 4, 6 8 cylinder's .
    Most all on a D-R tire's , & one's in
    90 ish inch wheel base close to 200 mph 1/8 & 200 plus in 1/4 ..
There some Bike cl*** Extreme outlaw ?
Based on production frame stretch swing arm Invite only 10 @ MIR @
World Cup , I think all where
    6:20's -6:40's 3 tenths fast then NHRA
Pro stock bike on tire smaller then
    Pro Stock bike .
    I also notice Cletus McFarland
    69 Eagle On 315's with a 15 wide rim .
What caught my eye was in staging lanes's & off line the top of rim is @
Quarter fender Tire up in quarter,
    On a 1/4 p*** around 800-900 foot
The back half of car is all jacked up
Rear quarter is about 8 inches or so
Higher then tire its self , Its freaky looking , Like a Heavy rake all on front end down force @ 263 mph with common rear spoiler wing, little to none on rear (D-F)
, I have Never to my knowledge seen this even on Pro Mod , Pro Stock
    T- Sportsman .
Now I am going to jump around to
Problem you were having when running
Split fuel , I think was neat !!
I do not think you had issues on scuffing piston's ? Just milk shaking
Oil ,, I suggested separating block from Heads , coolant not p***ing from block
To head's , a few months ago I stumbled up on independent Tinkler in 50's that did this a issue he had . Yes extra pluming but worked .
    Jumping to
Nostalgic , many of us remember
How cars where ran then , then now
68-75 ish Dry hopes 2 or 3 times
burn outs across staging beam , Bleach
, fire , engine blower surging to stage .
Very few I see doing this , Most the sanctioning Vintage encourage to do so but do not enforce.
When Vintage I personally like to see
Run in thoes time with some modern parts .
I know this all coast $$ , but in late
70's early 80's this is where started costing $$ For the average independent
Match weekend Racer pushed out of sport ,

Seeing " Non Pro Side" so many spending 100k plus for One engine ,
    A fresh roller ch***is 80k plus
Trans auto or manual 12k plus
    Tow rigs 125k plus .
diesel 3.80 gal ,Its hard for me to rap my head around ,
    growing up
Home made trailer , Ramp truck , schoolbus , Ryder box .

For me I am still bent back over 25 years ago I was able to build one big shop
I was wanting /plaining to do
80 x 100 plus & was not able to because
Rules /law's because my house was
800 square foot ,,, Me personally I could care less about a big house .
& Vehicles try to keep pre 95 .
I know thinking lead to off topic ,
    The ones made this far
If into Racing & Hot Rod's
There videos Pre 80's & still do not tell the story how it was in all forms Racing.
I even like to see the LaMans race ,
But wants they took out The long Straight away & long high bank turn changed corse , I feel changed the race

  3. I just got the word that the crank is perfect. No cracks. Journals are in spec. It's straight. I might have it back on Saturday.
The crank gear won't show up until the third week in December. So the engine won't start until the first of January. I'm still way ahead of next season.
