no turret just a sig sauer 227 in 45 cal. you never know what trouble awaits out on the road. i don't leave home without it. I'm looking forward to a fun week. updates will come as time allows.

Gonna have to check that out, my Sig .45 is a 220, didn't know they changed numbers ...hen again mine is 30 years old...

Holding that sucker in your hand feels better than...never mind,TMI.....

 

The 220 is a all time classic. A gun that is credited with the resergence of semi autos. Im a big sig fan.

We made it safely to cordova. All is good. Cranking up the volume to van halens right now. Seems appropriate.

We converted the car to nitro and fired it up. All is good. Tech tomorrow. Race monday.

 

Theres alot of pr up for grabs. The media is from all over the world. Lots of foreign languages spoken here.

 

We were in line for tech at 5:30 am. It started at 8am. We were done by 930. As of this posting there are cars still in line. We are car 107A this is the unlimited class. Anything goes in this class. Its drag weeks fastest class.

 

Watch out for Jeff and those PRO MODS. LOL!

 

Just go for the oldest, fastest car.

 

Good luck Brian, we will be cheering for you. Never cared much for those in between percentages, injected or blown . Seemed between 50 and 80 there wasn't much change then 80 and up here we go again. Your ok if you keep the volume within reason. Lippy

 

Running 50 percent on day one. That is subject to change depending on the standings. The pump is good for 80 percent. The block not so much. Already some carnage for some during the test and tune.

 

Well I will be glued to my computer at work. Fortunately I work in a lab so plenty of down time between data points

This year is a 180 from lat year. The car was ready when i left. We teched very early. Tech is still going on. We got some good sleep and ate. We have nothing to do. Plus i wanted to share what we see. There is something for every ones interests here.

The pictures and story were done at this years meltdown drags scotty lechtenauer drove from new jersey to do it. The stories are first released on hot rods site then rereleased in the printed magazine. Its cool to see it made its release.
