    Anyone out there rebuilding/modifying distributors. BuBBa would make what you needed.
    Anyone have good luck with the HUNT lookalike magneto?


    ****** I need a Mallory dist. or Vertex Mag./tach drive for a Y block.

    Yeah, I've rebuilt a few and have one apart right now, hopefully done tomorrow but it's an off topic piece.

    Do you replace the bushings as well? If so do they need to be sized after installed?

    The bushings on almost all of them have been fine, but if not I make new ones, no problem for me as I've got a lathe.
    When available, service replacement bushings do not need to be sized after installation so far as I know.
