I'm a car nut and a computer geek. My first love was photography, and since going digital when the Canon D-30 came out, have learned to use photoshop pretty well. I'm now using a 20D. I built a lot of models as a kid, and graduated to using more of the scrap plastic that you twisted the main parts off with. Spent 20 years in the military as an aviation crewdog to keep out of the unions, and now that I have a pension, I can work wherever I please, and don't have to kiss anyones****. I just built a new 60x30 shop, and will be working on projects there. I really want to become a better craftsman. I'm such a chicken when it comes to big projects, so I intend to change that. My garage was designed to be my home. Once I get the toilet, shower, and sink in, the house is going on the market. I figure I got a good 10 years left before I croak, so I better get started. One of the things that attracted me to the HAMB was the number of craftsmen here! Some of the postings just floor me, as they are so original, or so much better in execution to the normal***** you see. I'm not talking about some of the major tech articles either! Some of the little gems just really hit me with: "why didn't I think of that!" I'm not into extremes. rat rods and gold chain stuff aren't me, but I love to hear and experience the enthusiasm that went into any build. I do like color though, so semi-gloss black will probably never appear on my car. Primer gray maybe. Recardo
