I recently acquired a Chevy truck. I bought this, like many before, to be a driver while I work on other projects and it never fails, it is a project itself.

So after being stranded a couple times due to the generator not generating I swapped that out for the one from my '51 coupe while the engine is being machined and the carb had some issues so I swapped that to, now it runs worse. No kiddin'!

So now I'm headed out to try a different carb and maybe work out a few other bugs... Could be worse, could be raining!

see...ya NEVER should have touched it. Something that old, if the battery isn't charging, just keep swapping batteries, or put in a marine battery.

I did put in an Optima, that lasted a week. Got another carb on, this is it! She lives! Got just a little more tweaking to do but it's up 'n' runnin'!

Well the new carb seems to be working real nice. Just got the generator back from the shop, they did a complete rebuild, that's going on today along with some STEEL fuel line. Rubber line has let me down too many times already...
