Started with my pressure washer , fine steel wool ( lightly ) and a real old can of Mother's Mag wheel polish. A friend had given me some " tire black " chemical that really helped the look of those old tires

I wonder if it was shop made (built in house, not purchased) for a specific purpose. The flat pulley suggests it’s from an old shop that had overhead shafts to power all the equipment.

He has a parts car that most the parts are on. I'm not sure all what is or isn't missing but most of it is inside and then on the parts car. Has brand new interior as well.

This is what I bought at Hershey last week, plus a neat badge I got at an antique tool show. The magazines are from 1940 and '33. The tether car is an Ohlsson and Rice sprite car. The 6 inch scales have neat advertising on them. The only reference I found for the Prudential Automobile Service Corporation on the interwebs was in the Nov. 1922 issue of Iron Age magazine. It said the company was incorporated with $100,000 capital, to manufacture car parts, and do general machine repair. At that time, their manufacturing was being done by subcontractors. 008.JPG 010.JPG

I got this for free. Its a Hardinge TM or UM horizontal mill. I had to get it up a 35 foot long stairway, which I did with the help of my next younger brother and a friend. It needs some work, and I will have to find some tool holders,a single phase motor, and maybe a vertical head for it. 012.JPG

  23. I brought this home today. I thought I'd share it. It may be too new for the HAMB, but, I'll share it anyway. It's a photo album and autographs from the Spring Nationals at Bristol in 1976. Ron Sox, Tommy Ivo, Shirley Muldowny, The Greek, and others IMG20221016000853.jpg IMG20221016000900.jpg IMG20221016000912.jpg IMG20221016000956.jpg IMG20221016001010.jpg IMG20221016001018.jpg IMG20221016001046.jpg

This was the car the Greek ran with a lot of gold plating on it, and the engine too.
