That's great, I would have loved to get that. There was a few similar plastic blow-molded signs from a local dairy that were in an auction recently and I wanted one of those (my dad used to work there) but the prices they were bid up to were mind-boggling. Seems like if you want to get your hands on cool shit like that, you've got to find it "in the wild", or pay up.
Something I found several years ago after all the Family went through my Great Grandparents house . My Sister and I were going through the garage. I saw this wooden box shoved up in the ceiling joist . It had First Aid packets in it .
I have seen many first aide kits with the same type of stuff as pictured . The ammonia inhalers were always fun to have someone drop inside the welding helmet when your trying to finish 2 in X-ray welds
I drove 2 hours to pick this up yesterday. 1955 Chevy California frame. It's gonna go under my other 55 post. Now I gotta go drag the car outa the woods.
I have product called “sting kill” in swabs like that for bee stings…..there is no better product I have found. It came in a kit in our work trucks.
I visited my friend G V Gordon last night. He was showing me treasures the He had recently found . I bought these from him . Not sure how old or what they were used for . But I thought they are cool . Metal box the size of an ammo can . Plastic handle.
He should, but doesn't... Pretty sure those were from before my time. I may report back after asking around though. Edit: Those boxes were to hold the carbide bits for our earth saws. I learned something today...
I made a deal on this yesterday. It ain't much , but it's a start. I'm probably gonna put it on the frame I picked up. May be a two door conversion.
I might have given the wrong impression. I won't be cutting it into a shorty two door. Those things are a disgrace. I may, however, do a conversion using parts from an actual two door car. I have this one that may be beyond repair. I'd like to use both cars and the frame I recently accuired.
Very cool project. A Friend of mine did that a few years ago . Took a 4 door and a very rough 2 door and built a 55 2 door . Was a very nice car when He was done . Looks like You have a stash of Trifive cars
Picked this up last week, moved it on to a guy who remembers sending in 2 cereal box tops and a dime for his which was yellow.
Found this Dwell Tach at Goodwill last week. Left if for the next guy as I already have a couple I dont really use.
I picked up this Mobil brake fluid can for $3 and a bunch of Plomb tools recently! Got ‘em all cleaned up
The holes should be like these. Possibly filled with Bondo like the side trim holes on mine. Letter "V" should be first character on door Vin plate.
