Found an original paint 32 ford front fender at the recent Greenfield Ia swap meet, no cracks, tie bar, or front damage, needs some wheel opening work, nearly half the cost of a repro U.P.I. I'll prefer an original any day over a repo.

My wife picked this up from someone locally. We have an air B&B that was built in 1862, so we decorate it with antiques. She likes this so much she wanted it in our modern homes’ kitchen. I guess that means we’re looking for another phone. :) 2C03A38E-3D21-42F7-AFB8-D29333EFA1EB.jpeg

If you ever get too much stuff in your shop, send me a PM! I’d gladly make room for you. Been looking for a ‘64 or ‘65 Pontiac A body forever. :)

Also got this ol Jukebox & really cool porcelain coated sink/cabinet unit. It has an electric water heater under the sink & fridge in the right cabinet. The left side cab & drawer are empty for storage. 20230916_104908.jpg 20230916_104015.jpg

  11. I found this transmission today, it's a T96-1B with a R10 overdrive unit. Someone has welded a pulley on the input shaft:(

Many, many thanks to HAMBer @hrm2k for totally hooking me up! 350/350!
But wait, there's more- 750 Holley, aluminum intake, shortys and Cal Custom dress up parts. A friend indeed. There's still gold 'flake in my shoes. Now, where's my Chevy orange paint?

Picked up a rear 49 Plymouth bumper for my 47 Ford for next to nothing. It's a 10 footer but still....now I'm afraid I won't be able to find a front for that good of a deal. IMG_20230819_174538476.jpg

  15. Bought this a while ago, brought it home today. It is a 28 rpu, drilled front axle, juice brakes, was running and has legit paperwork. It will have to wait, as there are others before it, but the previous owner/restorer wanted me to have it, so I bought it. Plans are undecided, it keeps company with a couple other model a projects already in the stable. Might be too nice to cut up very much, but it is very small inside. So small you have to step outside to change your mind. B8D343F1-D4F8-4F61-BFF4-E3C8A37719A4.jpeg

Saw this on facebook. Looks pretty nice from the front, but the back looks pretty bad.

Mark, I've seen more than a few hot rods with a finned oil filter cover hanging from the dash, as a cup holder.

Cool! I haven’t seen one of those bingo cards since I was a kid in the 60’s. :)

  28. Not a big deal to most but I finally scored a proper rear end for my 53. Once I get the drums off I'll swap some leaf spring perches on and actually be able to figure out what gear ratio it is lol IMG_2023-10-12-12-03-29-550.jpg

Finally found another piece to go with the Champion spark plug sign that I have hanging in the garage. Managed to track it down, only because I knew to look for a sign that said “Motor Tune Up”…. And that’s the problem with finding more of them. They don’t say “Champion” on the smaller pieces anywhere, so you can’t search for them that way. You need to know exactly what they say on them, and I only know of these three particular signs. If anyone knows, or has pictures of any additional signs, I would love to know what they are so that I can look for them as well.
