"Solid State, Stereo 8"! Kinda just rolls off the tongue, don't it? Don't recall ever seeing an RCA branded 8-track player from this era. Wonder if the guts are the same as a Tenna or Audiovox?
Piece of a rubber bladder out of an engine oil tank out of a fighter plane. I removed the bladder from the tank . I plan on using the tank for a gas tank some day .
Picked up this sweet Champion Spark Plugs garage cabinet for $20 just minutes from home. Most cabinets are rusty, greasy or covered with GabrielHi-Jacker stickers! This one was so nice, I couldn't p*** it by.
Recently I showed my son the Snap On rachet rebuilt while I waited. Well, a couple days ago, he spotted this 3/8 swivel head laying in the road. Recognized the head shape and went back for it. Said he was going to p*** it up but the shape caught his eye. Some mechanic must be pissed.
I found 2 Pickering steam engine governors at my uncle's place. I am not sure what I'm going to do with them yet but they are cool!!
Guy had a 62 390 caddy with trans for $250. Turned the axle was under a truck the owner is doing an s10 swap. I took a chance at 300 for the set up
Friend of mine bought this small block 4 speed car. Birdcage is gone but par for the course for most of these something busted the back gl*** and body he’s ordering a new gl*** so I can fix this first
So this was the haul from this weekend’s swap meet. A goodyear fan belt hook, 34 taillight, old ashtray- any idea about year and model? A snap on tool box, and then a Moriarity inspired purchase- a pair of new in the box “King Bee” five inch truck mirrors- apparently they couldn’t live by headlights alone.
Don’t think perfection is the goal for this one I wouldn’t even paint it if it were mine. Fix the rust and make it go and stop.
You got that right ! Heard it many times “ balls out “ 110% over run . At that moment you really hope the fireman laborer did the last hydro test correctly . Worse issue I ever experienced was blowin a tube at balls out limit . Took about 3+weeks before I had a normal **** again.
Friend just bought this 265 for $200 also got the starter, gen and air cleaner. I could have bought it but I’m stupid sometimes.
Any idea what brand these are? Made in Occupied Germany, tool or part of a car tool kit? Thank you! Bob
