    "Solid State, Stereo 8"! :D

Kinda just rolls off the tongue, don't it? Don't recall ever seeing an RCA branded 8-track player from this era. Wonder if the guts are the same as a Tenna or Audiovox?

Picked up this sweet Champion Spark Plugs garage cabinet for $20 just minutes from home. Most cabinets are rusty, greasy or covered with GabrielHi-Jacker stickers! This one was so nice, I couldn't p*** it by. 20240601_135925.jpg

Recently I showed my son the Snap On rachet rebuilt while I waited. Well, a couple days ago, he spotted this 3/8 swivel head laying in the road. Recognized the head shape and went back for it. Said he was going to p*** it up but the shape caught his eye. Some mechanic must be pissed.

I found 2 Pickering steam engine governors at my uncle's place. I am not sure what I'm going to do with them yet 5e8598c2-fccd-4aff-bf4b-2721d384c793.jpg

And the source of the expression "balls out" to mean running at wide open throttle.

From the Sunday Flea Market. Often wonder what the story is behind these house clean out sales.

  15. So this was the haul from this weekend’s swap meet. A goodyear fan belt hook, 34 taillight, old ashtray- any idea about year and model? A snap on tool box, and then a Moriarity inspired purchase- a pair of new in the box “King Bee” five inch truck mirrors- apparently they couldn’t live by headlights alone. 19. Don’t think perfection is the goal for this one
I wouldn’t even paint it if it were mine.
Fix the rust and make it go and stop.

You got that right ! Heard it many times “ balls out “ 110% over run . At that moment you really hope the fireman laborer did the last hydro test correctly . Worse issue I ever experienced was blowin a tube at balls out limit . Took about 3+weeks before I had a normal **** again.
