Hot Rod or Stock Car? 1935-36 rear axle mounts welded to late flathead dropped wishbone. The spring mounts are modified, they will never work on V8 trumpets, so the work was done to attach then to a 1950's or newer rear.

Yes if it is FREE, and you plan to take it to a local swap meet.

My new old machinery. The lathe/milling machine is an Emco Maximat Super 11, made in Austria. It was government surplus, stored near the open side of a storage barn with 3 walls. I had to do a lot of cleaning and derusting. I bought one part that is still available, and made a couple that aren't. Ive also used it to make a couple parts for the Hamilton Varimatic sensitive drill press in the next photo. The part in the drill press vise is one of the parts I made for the lathe, getting the final step done. Next is a grinder for carbide tools, that I need to get a phase converter for. Last is before and after shots of a Dake arbor press. I cleaned up, wire brushed, and painted, made new shims, filed dings, and removed the brass tag to polish it. When I get my horizontal mill working, Ill mill the ends of the ram flat, and rebore the hole in one end. DSC01163.JPG DSC01185.JPG grinder.JPG press3.JPG press2.JPG press1.JPG

Those Desotos have a cool dash and steering wheel, well worth saving if you're parting the car out.

  28. I bought it for the grill and bumpers. I’ll try to find a good home for the rest of this mess
