Saw this today at the 2nd annual Latchkey Kids show in Mansfield tx. Does anyone know anything about it? It looked like an older custom to me. here's a link to the rest of the photos. http://www.flickr.com/photos/mudbutt/
A guy named riveragransport sold that on ebay 1 or 2 years ago. He owned it for a few months, he con tacted me because a popular customs magazine that I bought had a picture of it in it. 63 winternationals coverage I think. midwest car.
Here is the link to the exact one that i bought at Ray's photo in Camarillo Ca. but i think i paid maybe 50 clams for it? You can either buy an adapter that will hold it on to your camera, or do what I do and just hold it in front of the lens. http://www.demonfisheyelens.com/?gclid=CI_s1fP4rpMCFQrVsgod0iqgoQ or with a little more searching you could probably find one for less. Just search : fish eye for digital .
I have a picture of my 60's showrod at an indoor show and that car is parked next to it in 1963. the show was in chicagoland. I've also seen it in custom magazines of the day.
Its a wide angle (fish eye) for an SLR. Ive seen them for point and click too, but only higher end ones, never used one tho.
